Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

• To produce good quality and quantity of products.
• Ensures the daily production targets are achieved in right quality.
• Discuss the jobs to be run on the machine with the previous shift operator.
• In the case of new jobs run the jobs after getting approval from the finishing supervisor.
• Takes the assistance of the supervisor in the event that possible complicated jobs are to be run.
• Make sure that Production reports, Inspection check list form, Material transfer form are duly filled by the concerned person.
• Regular checking of the machine and reports any untoward observations to avoid accident and damage.
• Take care for proper lubrication of machine on time.
• During the make ready and in the running time the operator should check the use of right quality of glue.
• Regularly checks the glue application and the quantity of glue applied (optimum quantity of glue to be applied. Neither more nor less.)
• Ensure proper folding and gluing of boxes is done without wastage and gluing defects.
• Proper labeling and finishing of the boxes to be done.
• Inform the supervisor about the preventive maintenance of the machine.
• Make sure that machine has been cleaned and ready for the next shift. As well as keeping the work station clean and tidy every after completion of each work.
• Hand over the jobs to the next shift operator by explaining any special instructions.
• Ensures that tools were properly stored and arranged every after use or upon completion of each work.
• Performs work specifications instructed by immediate supervisors.
• Ensures to arrive at the worksite 15 minutes before the required duty time or extends 15 minutes more for job endorsement.

Education and Experience

• At least 3 years relevant experience in handling and operating the machine like MEDIA, AMBITION, MISTRAL AND AMBITION GLUING MACHINES.
• Diploma in printing technology or trade certificate for its equivalent (if any)
• Knowledge in printing and packaging technology
• At least 3 years’ experience as machine operator
