Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Can operate any of the following machines
  • Vision Cut
  • Bobst speria 104, 106, 102
  • Expert Cut
  • Expert Foil
  • Nova Cut
  • Optima
• Monitors the quantity and quality of the material input and output for smooth workflow.
• Discuss with the previous shift operator about the jobs on machine.
• Takes over the charge from the previous shift operator
• Arrange the job for die cutting according to priority plan.
• In the case of continuous jobs, note down the effects to be rectified in his shift.
• Takes approval from the Production Manager / Supervisor for the new job set on the machine.
• Responsible for effective utilization of available resources (e.i. Equipment, material etc.)
• Prepare the Die cutting report for the jobs run in the shift.
• To make sure that I.S.O procedures concerning to your section is duly followed by the concerned person.
• Ensures that daily production targets are achieved in relation to the company standards as follows:
• Inform the supervisor about the preventive maintenance of the machine to keep up machine condition.
• Make sure that machine has been cleaned and ready for the next shift. As well as keeping the work station clean and tidy every after completion of each work.
• Ensures that tools were properly stored and arranged every after use or upon completion of each work.
• Inform the Production Manager / supervisor about timely updating, modification or replacement of machinery & equipment.
• Takes full responsibility on company guidelines relative to proper wearing of uniform, ID cards, shoes, proper grooming (long hair not allowed) and all other related internal policies of the company.
• Ensures to cooperate in the event that overtime duty is required. Shall work on Fridays / Holidays if required.
• Ensures that proper notification shall be given to immediate supervisors before the absent date.
• Performs work specifications instructed by immediate supervisors.
• Be able to work on shifts and likewise, required to follow scheduled duty timings prescribed by the immediate supervisors, conscientiously.
• Be able to adjust and comprehend with additional tasks given by superiors other than the required work responsibilities.

Education and Experience

• Trade certificate related to printing or its equivalent. (if any)
• At least 3 years relevant experience in handling die-cutting machine.
